You will play a key role in the delivery of the Participatory Budgeting (PB) Unit’s ambitious five-year work programme, leading the work to promote PB in the police and health sectors and working with key stakeholders (including Police Authorities, Primary Care Trusts and Central Government Departments) to develop and support high quality PB initiatives.
You will bring with you a proven track record of project delivery, together with well developed communication skills and an ability to inspire confidence and commitment in stakeholders. A knowledge of the community empowerment agenda and/or experience of working in the public sector would be an advantage.
